Unable to Play due to messed up menu.
My game loads but when it first starts the "press any key" item is flickering like crazy and the mouse will not work. There is no way to navigate menus. I can't seem to fix it.

Background: I had stopped playing Ubisoft games for a good while 5-8 months maybe? I came back and someone had hacked my account. Also they had changed language to Russian. I have changed my password and am able to log in Uplay, but I am still locked out of Account settings for ubisoft to change language for Ubisoft etc.....waiting for their bankers hours tech support to fix. I do not know why though any of this would effect in game menus. But the last game I played Primal will no longer even load up it freezes trying to load up. I have a beefy system, hardware is NOT an issue.

Any ideas?

The same thing happened to me. I have Thrustmaster joysticks attached to my PC, so I think the AC menu is sensing both the joystick controllers and the keyboard causing the flickering and inability to continue that you describe. I unplugged the joysticks from their USB port and AC went to keyboard mode normally. Naturally, you won't have access to your joysticks while playing in keyboard mode, but the game plays well with the keyboard and is my preferred method of play.

Thanks for this, Yes I had my SRW S1 racing wheel connected.....it's odd I leave it connected and it doesn't bother other games. That fixed teh game.....and I eventually got my account info straightened out, they were unrelated. loving this game........but F%^* the hackers.

enable 2 step authentication on uplay to avoid getting your account stolen in future

I have to be honest their method of protection for 2 step authentication, ticks me off. Signing up for more spyware should not be a requirement for security and that is how I feel about those accounts. Why not use a txt message to your phone like many do? I should not have to sign up for accounts I do not deem as safe regarding privacy. Of all the authentications methods they could choose they choose ones that are ultimately less secure. This is the kind of crap EA pulls, and why I dumped their games and origins. Funny how my games on steam, that only use steam for authentication have never been hacked.
