Don't bother going to ubisoft either because they couldn't care less, You just recieve the same standard responses, asif you're 80 years old and have never used a computer before. Oh and you won't be refunded. Happy Gaming.
game works pretty good here on my ALL AMD rig.
Ryzen 1600x
16gb @ 3000mhz
RX 580 8tg
Win 10
If it is not a port, whoever was responsible for optimizing it (Ubisoft Kiev I think it was) did an inadequate job optimizing the game given the poor performance and numerous issues.
If it was optimized properly, pc rigs that fall above the minimum and especially above the recommended system requirements would be seeing much greater performance and the game wouldn't require literally 100% cpu usage as is the case for so many players with rigs more that exceed the recommended system requirements boasted by Ubisoft itself. Not to mention all of the other exceedingly high cpu usage numbers that do not come about in other cpu intensive games.
Additionally, if the game was sufficiently optimized, the game would not be experiencing graphical downgrades with post launch updates just so Ubisoft can attempt to bring performance in line with the system requirements and performance related claims.
Same as mine except I've got 16Gb ddr4, though I obviously have seriously low expectations - I'm running everything on the best settings and accepting a perfectly playable (to me at least) 38-50fps. I expected far worse from everything written about this game.
I look forward to the day I upgrade to the latest and greatest rig and am blown away by the cinematic quality of game play, although having happily played Ghost Recon: Wildlands at a similar 30-40fps on highest settings it may well be lost on me.
Being a bit of a luddite isn't so bad.
You are running what is essentially an entry level PC and you want 60 fps?
Also DOOM is an FPS and GTA 5 came out almost 3 years ago.
