Hey marabunta22! As far as I'm aware, you cannot remove skills but you can continue to gain skill points past level 40 and collect all of the skill points if you choose.

It would be nice to have an item or option to respec skills so if players aren't satisfied with their build they can change it mid-game. Obviously it should be something limited to a few uses or some item hard to obtain to prevent players from abusing it.

You can in TW3.

Should not select it in first place, how hard would that be? HUH ?!

Thought it‘s a cool skill but later realized it‘s not, how hard is it to understand that? HUH?

eh, you don't need to worry about skills. You can level up past level 40 infinitely. It would be nice to be able to refund, but you'll end up getting every skill in theory.

It would be good to know if there's any reason to unlock all skills, since some of them are virtually useless or we might simply want to skip them. I honestly preferred to add more % bonusses on Melee and bow masteries instead of wasting points on skills I wouldn't probably ever use. With a respec option we could at least get a chance to try and rebuild.

Yup, Witcher 2 as well.

Yes it is, Achievement

What achievement? This is my end-game skill tree and I have 50/50 achievements and 40/40 Uplay challenges:

Completely valid point. I'm glad you brought this up because I've been contemplating getting that skill, but I'm hesitant if I wouldn't enjoy it or it would start to get annoying. I'm going to hold off or get it right before starting a new game save.

No need to be so condescending dude. If I had selected that skill (which I almost did) and found it to be disappointing or otherwise bothersome, I'd be turning to my fellow ACO gamers on the forums for help.

Wow, that is impressive.
And I do not mean this sarcastically, I really wish I had got this idea.
Now my skilltree is full of skills I rarely use, and I did/found everything that could be done/found on the map, plus several skillpoints beyond lvl. 40.
So my only chance would be to start an new game.

Don't get it. Ruined the whole game for me.
