Uplay doesn't connect, I can't activate the game or even play offline. What the hell is this?
I can't seem to log into Uplay as it gives me this error "A Ubisoft service is unavailable at the moment". I reinstalled Uplay, tried running as administrator, I even reinstalled Steam, I even went to a open wlan hub to see if my connection is responsible.

What am I supposed to do here? Refund the game?

I did a search to see if Uplay services were down. There haven't been any reports recently and I was able to log in myself.

Sorry I couldn't help more but we can at least rule that out.
Are you able to log in to their website?

I can access their main site but their login is down to me.
Could this be a Windows 10 issue? I just got a fresh install. All firewalls are off, I've tried different browsers, I don't own BitDefender or anything. By all means, I should be able to access that site but I can't.

check your router firewall if its blocking uplay ports

I figured it out. I changed the "Internet Protocol 4" DNS settings to Google's (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4).
If anyone doesn't know what I mean, just follow this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bT6vRAVGTYU

I don't know why I needed to do this on my Windows 10 PC since all other devices on my network were able to connect, no problem.

its a problem with your ISP DNS, it doesnt find the domain ip address thus it doesnt forward it.

It works on all my other devices so it can't be my ISP.

You need to sign out of Uplay and close Uplay. Restart Steam.

Launch the game through Steam and it will automatically open Uplay and activate it for you, you just have to click Activate when the window pops up.
