Why does the game show a PS4 controller for the split seconds that it is working and it also show all the buttons corretly.

Compatibility may be added in the future but currently it is not fully supported.

So the only thing I can do is wait?

Unfortunately yes, or you can try one of the supported pads (Xbox One, Xbox 360) as at the moment these are the only ones we can say will officially work.

I apologise for the inconvenience.

You need to disanle DS4Windows, otherwise it registres double input, that's why you have the icons switching every time you press a button.

I always use PS4 Controller here.

DS4 is not open.

I use the Steam config that's enable Xinput emulation for PS4 Controller, but if you don't use, please sorry.

Does the way you are suggesting work on AC: Origin?

So it's halfway through 2020. And still not PS4 Dual shock support?

Game is choppy still on a 5700xt / ryzen 3600 no matter what settings you go to.

This was supposed to be the big return to the series.I've attempted to start playing this game 3 times over the last 3 years, the expereince has really sourced the AC series for me. I didn't touch Odessey, I doubt I'll touch Valhalla.

Cheers dough

In my experience Dualshock support works fine WIRED. It's when you try to use it wirelessly it gets weird.

With regards to 5700 XT/3600, what monitor do you have? Freesync works wonders for this game.
