Seems like the Egyptian version of Witcher 3!
is it just me or do you also think most of the things in this game were stolen from the game witcher?
the only difference is the egyptian thema and the beasts i guess. ...

And ACO is a tale of revenge. it isn't the witcher in egypt, it is John Marston and Red Dead Redemption in Egypt

The combat is more like Bloodborne/Dark Souls than the witcher 3, and the movement is similar to previous AC games, are you telling me the witcher 3 has parkour now?

Yes. But W3 didnt evolve this gameplay elements. And yes, AC:O uses them and made it even better. I love the W3, but AC:O is better. AC:O could use more personal decision like the W3, but after all: best game since the W3. For me.

hahaha, that is eerily consistent. Though I would argue The Lord of the Rings was inspired by The Bible, not exactly ripping it off

Pointless post.

Adds nothing to the thread.

Clearly UbiSoft, having slowly run out of original games under the AC title have taken a TW3-type game, slap the AC title on it and watch the money roll in.

This thread pops up every few days. What about the two games do you find similar? They are both open world RPG games. That's on the tin. That means they are going to have quests and gear. You can't really say ACO ripped off W3 for that. Doesn't make sense.

What else are you saying is a ripoff? Your orginal post is very vague.
Lanzagranadas Nov 25, 2017 @ 3:53pm
Let's see:

-Combat has nothing to do with The Witcher 3
-Witcher games don't have stealth/assassination mechanics
-Witcher games never had parkour
-Your weapon variety in Witcher games: Steel Swords and Silver Swords.
-You don't have potions, Signs, mutagens, etc. in ACO.
-Half of the enemies you fight in The Witcher games are monsters from magical origins
-AC games never had a choice and consequence system.
-You need to collect materials and obtain formulas to craft quality weapons and gear in Witcher 3.
-No weapon/gear Durability or item weight system in ACO

...etc.

Honestly its just because ACO has question marks on the map and everyones like 'OMG they ripped off W3' just like anytime a game come out where the main protagonist wears a hood or climbs and everyones like 'OMFG they ripped off Assassins Creed!!!' yawn
