Is this a DX12 game?
As title.
If yes, is there any plan for multi gpu support?

It is not.
The specs are pinned here but we have a detailed FAQ here: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1759689-PC-System-Specifications-FAQ

no SLI support is pretty impossible, there were no AC without SLI support.

Running a ROG Swift 1080ti ASUS at 1440p all maxed out and getting around 40-45fps, dips down to mid 30s. If no SLI what can I possibly do to improve this?

I set my resolution modifyer to 120% and set AA to low. Try that, it should increase your FPS.

There are only limited number of games that support DX12. It could be Vulkan as well, we dont need DX12. However, both are perfect APIs in order to use PC sources successfuly. I dont understand why companies still release games with DX11, whereas Vulkan is way better to run on a PC and works on all platforms.

Maybe 1-2 years down the line we will get more dx12 games.

Well, I hope so. It`s much better for utilizing mutliple cores. Since CPU producers tend to place more cores into the processors, its our advantage always to have DX12 or Vulkan games for better optimization.

Yeah, in theory thesenew APIs will help with that. In practice however, we still face the situation that engines need to be tailored to utilize the new parallel rendering capabilities to such an extend that it would actually benefit performance. So far - like with origins - most devs tend to use the well know, matured DX11 for their PC "forks". And I mean, it kinda works. For me Denuvo is the biggest bottleneck in AC Origins and nothing else, so as much as I would like to see some magic happen with DX12 - I bet this is not the last time we argue about it's inherent benefits and shortcomings.

But yeah, if you use higher mainstream or even high end gpus - true DX12 support would totally be a welcome addition. Even if it is just for curiosities sake :worker:
Low-Level APIs *are* the future and consoles kinda REQUIRE these to utilize their slow AF CPUs to their limit. But here on the PC side of things, we should dial down a bit and enjoy what our machines are capable of TODAY. Which is, by design, always ahead of closed, fixed eco-systems.

Try not arbitrarally maxing it out. Usually there is something that kills fps, but offers little to no image quality improvment like say shadows on high vs ultra.

Volumetric clouds can steal a few FPS, for some people.
