What?
This is bad, hiding the ultra preset is telling us something will go wrong here.
The high preset now days is usually compared to the console graphics
I hope you have not screwed up the game.
I just hope the game runs without glitches since I am running a base model (R1) Alienware Alpha with the i3-4130T @2.9 GHz and upgraded to the 8G RAM. YES i know it is a i3 but I had made a fools choice to pre-order fallout 4 the day it was out, so when some time had passed and the system req. were released I saw this:
Fallout 4 system requirements (minimum)
•CPU: Intel Core i5-2300 2.8 GHz/AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz or equivalent.
•CPU SPEED: Info.
•RAM: 8 GB.
•OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
•VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or equivalent.
•FREE DISK SPACE: 30 GB.
Oh but being such a huge fan of the fallout games I had to try it just to see how bad it would run and behold my Alpha actually ran the game for a hour on high settings. I now run the game quite nice with some custom settings and for hours on end... WOW I said and started thinking what next... so I got DOOM (2016) and this game showed that the sata hard drive was the only real bottle neck in the computer, so i ordered a 7200 rpm 1T sata drive that is external and runs on usb 3.0. So now I am thinking that the games can be played on my i3 but only because I was poking around the internet and found some benchmarks of my i3 vs the i5 that is called for to run Assassins Origins and mine overall does better so heres to crossed fingers that it will just run on my computer :D
Hope this helps some of you since i know there are a few people with the Alpha's and Steam Box on here
Sounds about right ya I would be shocked if those were the final system specs it seems a bit lacking I would expect a current gen game to require a bit more juice for a game releasing in this generation of games
