I derped and thought my main save was bugged and was looking at the wrong thing... so I just wasted 4 days trying to power level a new save.
For instance I sedan the free helix credits for ability points, so I start with several.
And what's the point of the vendor at all ? If he spawn at the end of the game it's kind of useles, no ? Since the game is, you know... finished ?
Like the last AC game, there's actually is stuff to do and places to explore after you finish the main quest line. You can always hunt down the bounty hunters, find all 12 of the standing stones, complete all the papyrus puzzles, find and loot all the tombs, etc, etc. Some this stuff and some achievements you really can't do until the end game, when you get more powerful. Also there will be DLCs added on. (maybe they will be good, maybe not.) AC Syndicate had the The Dreadful Crimes, Jack the Ripper and The Last Maharaja as quests you played mainly after finishing the main story line. I'd bet AC Origins will do the same with any future DLCs.
