AC: Origins - Spartan/Hoplite Outfit and more!
Hello there, fellow people of Steam I am wondering how the hell do I get in touch with the creators of this game or anyone part of the dev team because I need people to sign a petition to introduce a Spartan/Hoplite design to the game which would be lovely.

Imagine a hoplite outfit with a hoplite helmet like the one from the Arena. Representing such finesse makes it just perfect to explore Egypt with style.

Please, sign the petition if you like the idea! And lastly, any tips on how we can get the devs and the designers to notice this?

Petition: www.change.org/p/mustapha-mahrach-please-add-a-spartan-hoplite-outfit-to-assassin-s-creed-origins

Thanks!

a greek outfit with a corinthian helmet would be something for which i would actually buy helix cerdits to buy it in the e-store! same for a roman outfit with lorica segmentata and gallic galea without a pelt over it.

I dream about such a roman armor in assassins creed since i played that one mission in assassins creed brotherhood, i know that ac origins plays way to early for such a armor but hey, i still would love it and the gallic galea and half if the lorica segmentata are already ingame.

Appreciated! Let's hopefully see how many people we can rack up, haha.

Historically it is actually to early for Lorica Segmentata and it is only rarely attested for Egypt or the Near East and i think the Roman Armor is in general one of the areas were they made a very lazy job in researching or just made up some fantasy armors to please the costumers. In general i dislike the many fantasy or out of time armors our Bayek can wear. What the hell is with the Persian outfit? I mean its one of the best looking, but why has it to be a persian outfit? The strangest thing is that i can wear roman stuff but there is not a single hellenistic armor although thats the timeframe. Spartan and Hoplitearmor is somewhat outdated at the time and i find it highly strange that there are so many corinthian helmets in the game.

So please a hellenistic armor for Bayek!

But they will make you pay another 60 bucks for those outfits (maybe an ultra deluxe spectacular edition), there is no way in hell ubisoft is giving anything away for free. Are you up to it ?

acutally outfits in the e-store costs 5 € per outfit and they are all available for free through the heka chests too if you are lucky enought to get one out of them. You get 1 of those chests for free per day through a daily qest or you can buy the chests for 3000 drachma per chest which is the normal ingame currency you earn while playing.

You can get every item you can buy at the e-store and which is not a dlc or a time saver pack through that heka chests without the spend real money on it, but it can take much time because the item you get from the heka chest is random.

Well, if we are speaking about what's historically accurate and what not, I think that the devs utillize the whole fantasy surreal concept through the fact that it's within an simulation. Which is kind of interesting due to the whole trial of anubis, fighting gods and the surreal kills Bayek delivers to his targets. A good flow in my books, so I don't think making some adjustments to what people wore and did during that time would matter that much, as long as it looks accurate and feels inspired from X events.
