...if I answer Yes to travel with Aya in the quest Aya: Blade of the Goddess?

I've been 100% ing the map up to this point so that means im already 40 with over half the map left to play. I'm concerned with the "are you sure you want to go with Aya" confirmation box of this quest.

Will I still be able to move along and clear off the map as normal or will this lead me on a path that ultimately changes the map and my ability to do all the side quests, etc?

Or is it better to do everything else on the map before continuing with this quest? Thanks for the help!

Is it the quest to bring Cleopatra to Alexandria?

If yes, you can acceopt Aya's offer. What follows are several story missions to bring Cleopatra to power. After this you can return to your exploration buisiness. Main story will be far from over.

That's good to hear. Googling the topic didnt help much-a lot of vague stuff about bugging out achievements etc, but I'm not playing the game for "trophies". I just didn't want to skip half the map. It's so well done and side quests are interesting. I actually want to complete it as close to 100% as possible.

As Thodin said, it's basically just one really long story mission. You return to business as usual once it's done

Okay, i just finished the quest (quite a good section!), and I can confirm there is no reason to put off doing the quest. It does not hinder your progress. Thanks for the tips, guys!
