What is the point of cursed legendary weapons?

They reduce player health to just one block, which makes them pointless to use.... Is there any way to get rid of the curse?

It's a broken mechanic because it locks your health for both weapons but doesn't give you the damage buff for both weapons.

It would make sense for a extraordinary bow. But I got a cursed spear and a sword. Close range fights with reduced health...well...thats pointless.

Works for my playstyle, i use an instant charge sword to pair with the cursed spear, good synergy on all enemies. I have to settle for it because it's the only spear worth using in comparison to other weapons, Spear being my favourite weapon style of course.

I dont like how it leaves your health diminished even if you're actively using uncursed weapons. Just having it equipped it is all it takes.

You get 1/3 the health for 2x the damage. If you're good at dodging (as bad as the dodge in the game can be) then it's very worth it.
