witness it rainging bugs achievement not triggering?

so ive been walking in the burning sun for a while and i have seen multiple bug rains but the achievement is not triggering nfor some reason..

is this a common bug?

11/03/18 Here and after 2 raining bug episodes still no achievement, so I guessing common or not it's still a thing.
Unless I had a mirage of a mirage of raining bugs, and that don't count?

Yesterday I ran through bugs and no achieve, this time I will stay inside it til done. All you can do is try harder.

There are 2 types of insect rains, one of locusts and one of actual bugs (scarabs).

Are you sure, it was the scarab rain?
I needed a whole lot of tries and time to find scarabs raining, seems to be pretty rare... but when I found it, the achievement triggered properly (on Dec 04th 2017).

i tough i had rainging bugs multiple times but theres also something like a bug storm, looks like it but its not actually the rainign bugs hallucination

This was one of the hardest for me to try and trigger. I witnessed so many falling bugs and never noticed anything different, and then it just triggered finally. Just had to keep at it multiple times, ran around for hours. Other folks got it to trigger in just a few minutes. Very frustrating.

It was different for me, I had to idle in the desert for around two hours until I saw bugs raining down. I always had other hallucinations. I was losing hope and pretty much my will to live just sitting there waiting for bugs to rain. The achievement triggered fine though.

Well you all give me encouragement. Maybe it was just the wrong kind of bugs for me.

as far as i recall you need to keep walking through the bugs rain not just stand still watching it and it should be around siwa desert, this is how it unlocked for me.

it uinlocks 10 second sor somthing into the hallucination you vcan stand still
