How to switch between Darts and Bombs? [SOLVED]

[BIG SHAQ 👑]

I have 3/3 Bombs and 3/3 Darts in my inventory, the tip says that I should hold the left button (on XB controller) to toggle them. The thing is I can only choose bombs while holding the button, I don't see any darts and there is no way to switch between them.

I restarted the game but still the same and yes I have the abilities from the skill tree.

Select how and where? In inventory when hovering the 2 objects there is nothing and when pressing them nothing happens or at least nothing suggesting that we can select them.

you need the perk first for that inventory, than you pick which one you want to use and vuala, you can select it by holding the same button you use to quick switch your weapon

By perk you mean the "Tool" socket in the inventory?

Right, I mentionned above that I have both of them. As in result I got for free 3/3 Darts and 3/3 Bombs. When closing the menu and while playing I can select only bombs, I don't see any darts and holding the left button brings only bombs, cant switch to darts

then you just have to equip them in the same area you equip all your gear. Only one at a time

But where exactly can I gear them? =D I have both of them in the slots where it shows me how many bombs I have and how many darts I have.

A hint maybe if there is something else I should do? xD

you have:

2 areas for bows
2 areas for weapons
1 area for a shield
1 area for a horse
1 area for an outfit
1 area for tools


the tools are usually next to the shield

and when in the open world you just hold down the button that switches your weapons (hold down not tap) and it should equip the tool

hold down left on the d-pad or hit 4 on the keyboard

no you can, if you can't that's a glitch. I've been using sleep darts and fire bombs since day one

In Gear section under Tool next to the Shield I can select only 1, or bombs or darts. I just tried to see if I can use darts. I tried to select both but not possible. So currently I can use only Darts or Bombs while playing, and if I want to switch between them I have to open the menu, go on Gear and make the changes in Tool.

If it's a glitch I am wondering how can I fix that

yea, not a glitch. just how the game is. you can only use 1
