*MAJOR SPOILER WARNING* Question concerning Amunet
I thought the ending twist being that Aya was infact Amunet was great and I didn't see it coming. Though, it's contridictory to Assassin's Creed lore unless there's something to be explained. Amunet's tomb is in Venice, Italy, where Ezio finds it and collects one of the seals to acquire the Armour of Altair.

But - Aya's mummy is found in Bayek's tomb where Layla is using the animus, and it is without doubt Aya's body seeing as Layla took samples of the mummy's DNA to enter Aya's memories and it worked. But if that's her, who's the mummy in Amunet's tomb in Venice? It just feels really lore contradictory. If anybody finds anything that may explain this, please let me know.

Why on Earth would you think that?

Anyway, it's surely a plot hole.
Unless the tomb in Venice didn't contain her body. The wiki does say it's a "dedication" to her.
Orrrr maybe her body got moved to Egypt to be with Bayek. A lot could happen in a few hundred years.
I'm really just trying to find ways to justify her having 2 tombs. I just can't.
Unless 1 is in reference to Aya & the other to Amunet.

They used a fake to replace the mummy with another one obviously.

They are also seperated at the end of the game, yet we found both of their mummys in the same cave. Pretty sure UBI will make a trilogy with bayek and at the end we see how both end in this tomb.

Most likely the "tomb" in AC2 wasn't actually her tomb, but simply a monument.

That'd make sense if the seal which Ezio collected wasn't taken from her mummy, which is apparently also in Egypt with Bayek.
