Is it even possible to fight the agile dual wielding guys with anything heavier than a sword?
I really like using spears, as i think they have the coolest kill animations, but it seems legitimately impossible to kill even 1 of these hooded guys with any kind of long weapon (excluding staves).

I only use the nubian staff at the moment and I know they are killable. How? Well, if they are attacking you, they are vuln to a parry. If they dodge you, dodge with them and strike. Know that when your combo ends you WILL be smoke bombed. This only stuns you and they run away, but if you don't chase them, they will use a bow which hurts more than their daggers. If you chase them and don't hit them first, they doa 3 hit combo to you.

Now the other hooded figure uses a kopesh type weapon or Shotel actually. They strictly combo and use ranged, there is no smoke, but it is still basically parrying them to open them up.
for those hooded ones I use light bow with poisoned darts, ez kill

Excluding staves man. Theyre easy if you use a sword or daggers or a scepter, the issue is with a spear it takes too long to wind up so you cant actually hit them.

Best I can recommend is dodging. Use it OFTEN, very OFTEN. Use it to dodge and get to the enemies back and attack, use it to dodge to their side and attack

Basically just ddoge, and follow up with an attack and combat is easy.

A parry opens up any target and knocks them off balance for a good 2 seconds. Also, the charged heavy with the spear is a dash forward or you can simply use shield charge to dash forward and knock them down. I know they can be killed with the spear because you encounter them in the arena elite events =P.

Two ways to easily take down the dual wielders with spears:

1. Shield bash + light attack. This is not parry btw.
2. Spear heavy attack is charging your opponent with the spear. They should not be able to parry this. Start from a distance and target the opponent you want to do this move on.
