ACO Combat

Hi. (im on PC)

Its me? Or there is no option for counter attack, or to evade "big" guys and break their defenses... Like other assassins always there was a way, in this game I cant figure out how to kill a guy with a shield, I keep going arround him, but he does a super mega punch and fks me up.
Any advice ?

Do you use dodge and parry?

if u have Axe , u can charge power attack and move with it , so get close to enemy and attack him , that will break they shield.

if u use regualr sword , when u Evade , u like going around them , then u can attack from behind.

u can aslo use fire weapons (bomb , arrows , melee) even if you hit they shield they will burn over time and sometime it will give an opening for attack.

I use what they told me on tutorial... Shift for hold up the shield... and hit with normal left mouse click... after that maybe going arround the target, or press space bar to crowl..its there something im missing? (I love the old AC counter-attacks, makes me feel im a real swordmaster, here I suck like shi t)

How do I evade? (maybe I lost something )

you have to unlock the combat moves in the game, it gets better but you have to level up first

also the heavy attack breaks basic shield defense in the early game tutorial so just keep using that

Oh, ok, that gives me hope.. Im on level 3... and its quite impossible to me some fights, if its only 1 guy I can manage, but when I get up to 3 or 4, im fked up. (no like old ac, when more guards was more fun, cause the combos on fight that I had)

How do I do heavy attacks? Its says "shift+leftclick". I do it but it dosnt seems heavy attacks...

yea, the combos were awesome, sucks they didn't feel the need to give an egyptian medjay martial arts, some form of stick fighting would've been awesome. Just dodge like crazy and kite the guards and bandits, works for the most part

I think the tutorial was incomplete.. or poor.. at least they should say to me on the tutorial something like... "you now suck and fight like a chicken, but when you get points you get better..." lol
