Battle of the Nile Mission, defend Caesar

I started the quest with just a few arrows and used them quick. I then ran out shooting the random mobs, and had to sit there while they attacked me. The elephant then comes out and I have nothing and of course die. I respawn with only one spear. I've had the game patched, restarted, complete shut down, everything and no fix. Has anyone had the same issue, and so what was your fix? It's a great game so far but this seems to be game breaking.

I used a trainer called Infinity. If you give yourself infinite health, infinite arrows and infinite weapons it should get you through. I used it and got through first try, then just turned it off.

I thought I had infinite arrows when I did this. Do you have a warrior bow equipped prior to this mission by any chance?

I did, I had the same issue where I respawned with only one javelin.
If you use the infinite weapons, I think thats where it counts the javelins as being infinite. I just kept throwing them at the elephant and it worked for me.

you only have a small number of arrows in that mission? First time I did it I could have sworn they reloaded for me, I never let of the fire button the entire time

I think maybe if you use a warrior (or light?) bow before the mission, it may substitute yours in for the one it provides during the sequence.

I used a predator bow and a hunting bow before and got a light/warrior bow or whatever it was to use during that part of the mission. Maybe that's why I got infinite arrows.

I remember this mission, I activated my adrenaline bar with my sceptre out and poked the hello kitty out of that elephant. Worked nicely.

me aswell no bow 1 spear had bow for the first life but only had 10 arrows with my sniper bow then nothing

Happens on PS4 too, i'm totally stuck at this quest can't continue playing the game for days now.

Yeah the arrows are supposed ot be infinite,this is just a bug i think.

i used a trainer for unlimited arrows it also gave me unlimited spears aswell finished it no problem then its called infinity trainer i highly suggest it or mrantifun love him

I too have experienced this problem, but I think I have found a method to get past it. I have gladly posted in YouTube in hopes it'll help others. :D

the only problem ive had with this quest so far was hit reg with the spears. they'd go right though the elephant most times.

and i too never ran out of arrows. the spears reloaded on their own. no trainers or cheats.

and tbh... before they give you the spear... if they didn't give you more arrows you'd run out shooting the elephant. im pretty sure arrow count isn't a thing here
