im planing to upgrade my CPU from i5 6600k to i7 6700k.. and stay at gtx 1070 Gigabyte.. is it enough running this game ultra1080p60fps constant?

I've got those specs, and a good balance I've found is with 1440p base resolution, 90% gameworld resolution, Ultra settings yields close to 60fps most of the time. This without having tried 1.03. I overclock the 1070's cpu, but only modestly, so perhaps only see a few percent improvement over base.

Are you geting the i7 6700k for cheap or something because why not just get the i7 7700k or a newer one?

Your an idiot. Its nothing like that. It would be like upgrading from 970 to 1070. i5 6600k doesn't have hyperthreading while the i7 6700k and i7 7700k does. Getting an 8700k requires complete new board/ram. Obviously he should upgrade to 7700k and 6700k but regardless they both way better than the i5.

But yeah recommend him to upgrade to 6700k, what a joke. It's literally like owning a 1070 and buying a 1070 ti for a bit better performance. The 6600 is more than adequate in every other game i7 or not.

It's running fine on my i7-6700K and GTX 970. Lowest I've seen so far is 52 FPS, with almost everything set to the highest settings.

Fact is most titles would work fine on the CPU he currently has.

If he really wants to upgrade just get next gen it fits in his current socket. In my country the price isn't very different either for 6700k or 7700k.

yes.. same.. but in big city very fluctuative FPS.. sometime 45-50-55-60 FPS back to 50 FPS..

nope get around 20FPS @ 4k because the game refuses to use my 2nd 1070. Ubiwank console porting ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Why are you even running SLI? Most games scale like ♥♥♥♥ with it anyway, you'd be better off with a 1080 Ti. Sniper Elite 4 when using DX12 is one of the few that scales decently with SLI.
