Where to find Herons?

Flamingos will let you get closer to them in the water than Herons in my experince. So I just shot at the flying 'white' birds, and if I got a hit, Senu would kill one for me.

Some quests require them, yes. Herons are generally found at rivers. Look for white birds.

Hah. I reached level 30 from just exploring and doing side quests. Have not even done the level 10 main mission to meet Aya yet lol.

My goal is to unlock and explore the whole map before doing the main story.

I needed two heron feathers and 2 flamingo tongues for a quest. Thanks for the help everyone. I have now done all side missions in the game and literally no main missions

I think more side missions become available/unlock as you progress through the main story.

Level 11 and unlocked 1/2 the map already. You can do it as long as you can out-run the level 30 bandits and such.

they're near flamingos in my experience. also unlocking the map early really does nothing and may even ruin the main story because a lot of side missions are story related in some way, of course some are locked until after you progress a certain length but still you may want to wait for the side missions at least.

I’m also looking for herons but can’t find any. I see plenty of flamingos but no herons where are they?

Look near water sources, primarily rivers that flow through towns or near civilizations. They are big white birds.

Herons are at the top right of the map on the edges of rivers and lakes. I have already 100% the game so this post is outdated now
