if you have multiple joysticks or gamepads plugged in...unplug all the ones but the one you're using.. this game takes input from multiple gamepads/joysticks for some reason.

IMO they should fix that.. to where xbox controller and the like take priority. I have too many peripherals to want to unplug them each time I feel like swapping genres. I play flight sims so I have all kinds of toys.

Got the same issue, but it's not that the camera's moving on its own, more like the gamepad seems to disconnect every 10 seconds.

I am having the exact issue,I use a PS4 controller and the menu scroll moves on its own and the camera does too.

Same here, using a 360 afterglow, restarted my computer to see if that works

had this issue. it seemed like a delay to me. I capped my fps and the controller works fine. I also have my input set to xbox controller (not mixed).

45fps. I would suggest to do a benchmark, then cap at your closest average fps. Users have suggested that capped fps will alleviate the 100% cpu usage.

I assume that controller users get a delay because of 100% cpu usage.

Sometimes controllers wear down to a point where the sticks don't completely center anymore, so the game thinks you're pushing slightly in one direction. I'm not sure if Origins has an option to increase the size of the joystick "dead zone" but if you can find one in the options, try making it bigger.

its a brand new controller brought just for origins, as im relatively new to pc gaming.. no dead stick option

If you desynchronize the camera should be fixed. That’s what I did and the problem was solved.

Cameraman disagrees with the historical accuracy of this game, trying to escape revisionism.

Why is this not an option? It definitely is. Don't just say no. Swallow your pride and actually check the values the controller is giving you.

If you're using steam to launch the game, disable controller support in steam settings.

also try going into the ingame settings and set the device to controller instead of auto-switch.
