Cool room I found in Sphinx passageway

No idea what I'm supposed to do here, if anything. No quest for it, just found a secret entrance to a ruined tower in the desert, wandered around inside, and it led me here.

Don't need spoilers (at least, not w/o spoiler tag), but is there a quest to do something in this room?

It has to do with the mission you get about your son. Called something along the lines of "Promise kept".

The quest is named "Bayek's promise"

It will make sense later. Just come back after clearing Bayek's Promise quest and obtaining 50 Silica (that gold thing you get mostly from tombs).

After you complete the main story, one of the scrolls in the informant's room will give a hint about sphinx, and there is a quest act as a prerequisite to unlock certain scenario/thing.

Well, that makes sens. I just found it and it has two blue beams in it - and I've found two stone sites.
