no...i run all my games on high settings with a 2 gigs nvidia gpu, even gta5
Upgrade from your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ card to a 1060 at least, you won't regret it.
Newer Games will only require more VRAM so youre staying behind without upgrading.
where i'm from graphics cards with 3 gigs+ are crazy expensive with that money i can just buy a new PC
nah i'm good
Fair enough.
Unfortunately, games are moving away from that being able to run them smoothly even on Medium. : /
Those are basically last gen specs.
I don't think you have shopped for Graphics cards in a while. A GTX 1060 which sells for $300 is a mid level GPU and has 6 GB VRam. 3GB of VRam would be a bottom of the line card. Actually I don't think 3 GB GPUs exist . That would be pretty useless amount anyway as VRam need and usage tends to double. Just as resolutions tend to double. 2.4 .6 8 are useful amounts.. A GTX 1050 has 2 GB and sells for $120. GTX 1070s and 1080s have 8 GB VRam.
I don't think my computer is very beastly.. i7 4770k and a GTX 970, 16g ram. It's pretty middle of the road if not a bit out-dated, but I run fine on High settings.
I read somewhere that it was certain processors and AMD cards that were having trouble, but I don't know how accurate the info about the processors is.
AMD cards are definitely having problems.
