What's your favorite mount?

Do you see a difference in speeds?

Is there a specific one you like?

I spend more of my in-game gold on mounts than I should xD but i really enjoy the variety they have, and would switch what i used pretty often

that is, until I found Meri Amun at a trader in Alexandria...now I exclusively use him xD

I have the starting camel and the "fangs" horse, I've not noticed any difference in speed, but to be honest, I rarly use them as I stop and look around too much.

Since you seem to spend loads on mounts, have you notice a difference in speed, actually timed them etc?

I haven't gotten around to timing yet, i need to find a good spot where i can send them auto-running on the road and clock how fast they get from point A to point B, without having to swerve around AI riders constantly and potentially messing up the time

but somethings i have noticed:

- horses FEEL faster, but that could be the animation of the animal making it appear so.

- AI appears to have a harder time knocking you off a camel

- My legendary horses outdistance AI on common horses (noticed on AI escort missions where we're both galloping full speed but i pull ahead constantly), so legendaries might have a speed boost over others

unicorn is totally awesome.... xD, i don't think mounts have different speeds.. but depending on the type of ground or if your going up or down does seem to effect how fast they go

Yes, riding a horse feels faster, but I think it's the animation, Maybe there is some differences, but don't think it would be anything special, I seem to recall the devs saying there is no difference in speed in them though.

I wouldn't be surprised if everything about them is purely cosmetic xD

i like the camels, but prefer horses because it feels weird to me to see a camel leaping obstacles and other such un-camel'y things xD

I can confirm that legendary horse and legendary camel ran the same distance in the same time =P

going to test with Rare and Common ones to see if the results are the same, but it doesn't appear mount type makes a difference in speed
