Can't remember finding any Epic Lewt in there though.
If you visit the cave with Bayek, the part where the Animus and the sarcophagi are is blocked of by - strangely - artificial/crafted stone blocks. Someone was there, maybe in the old kingdom or, like in many other grave sites in AC Egypt, even earlier. Isu-early.
My theory: Bayek wanted to return anyway, at least he implies that he thinks this would be a good resting place for him and Aya. Later in his life, he visited the caves again, maybe he lead an excavation (a good resting place needs proper research) and he stumbled over a Piece of Eden. This lead him to Aya to tell her about the discoveries he made, they grew closer again until finally, Bayek did return to the Hotep cave: to be buried there.
Tl;dr - Bayek means Hotep cave, but we won't find the artifact yet, because it is in the blocked off part of the caves Bayek has yet to find a way into. And after searching the cave for hours (as many others did; it's not THAT large), I highly doubt the way to do that is in Origins.
