if I have to melee I have 2 swords, one with fire and the other Healing on kill :)
Got myself a halberd axe thing, my awesome horse Fangs, and i shoot fire arrows at oil vases then charge in to clean up whoever is still standing afterwards
Running a Heavy Blade/Dual swords. That heavy with long reach and dmg is a beast.
I use shield and spear on ground, Heavy Blunt for mounted, Bows are situational, but the light bow can be brought up to shoot a charging enemy in the face quite effectively, returning to melee if they reach you.
The Legolas simulator 10.0 benefits from you retrieving your arrows from the dead.
The staffs are pretty neat but take more effort in comparison to a 2 hander damage output, Maces are too slow for me. Standard sword too boring. Spear charge attack is awesome, but other weapons perform better.
Rarely use bows, mostly on the bigger forts or mounted combat.
