Rapporter et problem med oversettelse
That video was telling you to change you power setting in WIndows right. I did not watch all of it. You say you are running Afterburner. This might actually be part of your problem. Afterburner can take control of your fans . Is possible if you turn on manual fan control and don't set up a fan curve to mess up your fans..
Go here and see if it is set for manual fan control
- Settings
- Fan
- manual fan control
Setting up a custom fan curve might be a good idea in your case:
http://www.overclock.net/t/646422/how-to-adjust-your-fan-curve-in-msi-afterburner
Anyway, the game has got double layered protection inside, which is causing almost every single cpu, even the recommended, to hit high temperatures. Come back to play AC some other time, it is what I suggest. Good luck!
Glad to see Steam people being kind and attentive.
Really appreciate the help.

.Now my first question is, because of that Youtube Video, and because now Afterburner shows 60 Grad Celsius in Asssassins Creed Origins. Can I run Origins now without any doubts? Or could that video be a fraud, and Afterburner is just showing me wrong data? Maybe someone can watch the short youtube video, and tell me if this is true or not. Would really appreciate it, because then I could play without being scared of destroying my hardware. BTW, CPU and GPU Usage remains in high 90-100.

yea its set to manual. Theres a curve someone showed me a while ago, and i copied the curve and have it now. Fan speed is on Auto. But the fan control we talking here is only for the GPU . Where can I have the control for the CPU?
If that don't solve your CPU thermals try to ramp up the CPU fan curve faster (if your cooler/bios allows it) and if that's fixed, dont forget that normal CPU coolers needs air flow in a normal chassis too. Seen examples of high end fan CPU coolers beeing hindered by the chassis airflows before.
The risk of frying a modern PC due to slow heat build up (and by slow i mean normal non excessive overvolting overclock) is negitable, sure you can get some throtteling if the cooling dont work properly but thats usually it.
Built well over 30pc's over the years and have yet to see a single one up and die due to thermals and i'we been overclocking quite abit thoo (not extreme but for maxed 24/7 substained).
Just saw in an earlier post you already cleaned it out... :)
Thanks man yeah i cleaned up the whole inside of my pc and removed all the dust this morning. It seemd to be a bit louder now, dont know why.
But after watching this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRaxrOsRtzA
I tried it out, and now I have (until now, 30 minutes in game) around 60-65 Clesius degrees in AC origins, which should be fine right?
My question is, can this video really solve the whole issue, or is it only temporary and goes up fast?
I'm running the same CPU except with a h100 liquid cooler.
On 2k settings my cpu is hitting 85 Celsius
yeah I know, and in a week I will buy a new cooler and the paste.
But the question is, since I tried that Solution in the VIDEO and it worked, can I , until then, play the game with the settings, without having fear of crashing my system?
I mean if MSI afterburner says its 65 Celsius, it should be true right? So the video worked, and I dont have to care so much about the temperatures at the moment right?
And I mean before I tried the solution in the video MSI showed me 100 Celsius, so thats a huge improvement. Im only hoping its not just showing, but actually works!
False. If your CPU is overheating at 100% usage, then you have a cooling problem. It doesn't matter if it's a game or whatever program you are using, you have a cooling problem.
Origins has an issue with pushing everyone's CPU to 100% usage though, this is true.
They can get louder as the dust wont absorb the soundwaves and due to the fact that air runs through it rather than stay in the fan house or the software that speeds up the fans more rapidly.
IMO when it comes to CPU temps - Keep the thermals a fair bit below throttle and have some headroom of seasonal changes (if in a place where say the summer causes much higher temps) and you should be golden. That temp you reported is fine
ok my CPU and GPU Usage is still in the high 90s, does that mean I cant play the game anymore?
And what do you think about the Youtube Video, and the resulting temperature drop from 100 celsius to 65?? Can that be true?
Ok I will remove the paste in 3-4 days, I hope until then it will work.
Thanks man. But do you think this program could solve it ? Because the CPU and GPU Usage is still in the high 90s.
♥♥♥♥ and about the paste, i really liftet the fan and had the paste on my hand, should really replace it as fast as I can.
But if you tell me the temp is fine, i play Origins without worry ok? :)
For some it will 100% be a cooling issue, bad cooling is obviously not going to help but it's not just that.
You can still play the game and most likely find it enjoyable if you put up with the high CPU usage. I hope Ubisoft can do something about it in a patch. Here's hoping!
The video is misguided. What that person is showing you is how to make your CPU max out at a lower percentage. Yes, of course, this will definitely lower your temperatures when the CPU is at full load. That video fails to explain why the temperatures are lowered. You will get worse performance with this modification in games that are CPU bound, especially AC Origins which likes to max out your CPU.
