Desert Whispers?

After killing the woman who wanted to bring back her daughter from ze ded, walking next to the pyramid, I heard these cool esotorical whispers and sand moving through the desert, sounded like some more eden shiz. Is this just normal or is this connected to the next mission I'm about to do? Have I missed something important?

I had the same situation, there was a sandstorm in the desert, and then I heard this whispering voice and the sandstorm was gone.

I got battle sounds and a field of corpses with a dead elephant, which then faded away.

I keep seeing different ones but I don't think so far I've found any secrets/rewards that connect to them.

walking in the desert sun for too long make him see things. it gets weirder the longer you do it and there is one achievement for seeing bugs fall from the sky because of it

It happened to me on my way to kill her, and it happened exactly as i went to pass the pyramid. I just walked passed it again, and it did the same thing. it doesnt do it at every one nor every time, but i cant make any sense as to what triggers it.

its a marage. it happens out in the desert when the sun is baking bayek. its a nice little detail. for me it usually comes with a burning tree. the whispering is someone saying something backwards. im more concerned with what they're saying.

Hi just started playing the game and i've seen a woman and blue flower also the whispers and bugs from the sky. haven't even started a quest that talks about killing some woman. I think this is something of a marage maybe that is a god or something to do with christians, also so seen men that are on fire.

Edit forgot to say found a silica crystal during this.

Hah, i just had a mission, where there was basically a reference to LOTR; had to find a ring, and give it to someone. When i finally got the ring.....on my way back, past the pyramid....i heard those voices as well for few seconds....now i wonder was this actually because of the whole ring and lotr connections, or was it just happened to be triggered by concidence....if it was the later, man, that was cool, it was such a creepy, but cool experience....

Catholic, Christian etc. I thought that aswell and there is also a part where you find a stick and when you get closer it becomes a snake. I believe this to be a reference to the first miracle Moses performed infront of the Egyptians where his staff/stick turned into a snake. The swarm of Locusts that you may come across after finding another burning bush may also reference one of the plagues God sent upon Egypt which swarmed the land with Locusts.

I wasn't near the pyramids when it happened to me. I was way south of Sias going after treasures. I was tagging my enemies getting ready for stealth kills and I saw a vanishing figure. It just disappeared in front of my eyes and I thought I was going to face a new enemy. But after waiting a minute or two I decided to proceed with my stealth kills. After collecting the treasures, the whispering began. Then I heard thumping and could see something in the distance wiggling on the sand. As I approached, I saw it was a fish whipping about. Then as it vanished the figure was standing afar. Dressed in white. After a few seconds of staring without moving it disappeared. These visions / mirages continued and every time, the white figure was somewhere afar and disappeared after a couple seconds, never able to reach it. I saw the stick turn into a snake. I saw the burning bush. I also was swarmed by what appeared to be dragonflies. Every time the white figure was somewhere on the horizon before vanishing. Pretty cool.Don't know what else I might see.

I was doing a quest for the little kid who sells things and I saw some carpet or blanket flying in the wind with some singing in the background. After a while I followed the flying blanket in the wind for about 300 m or so and it led me to some silica where it disappeared, haven't seen the burning tree or bug rain yet.
