Before i buy...Is there an upgradeable place like homestead?
As the title says i really like the idea of having a home/fort/village that upgrades slowly with npcs ect as the game progresses is there one like there were in the other games?

No, but each territory or city has a specific level.

You don't have a home or a base.

On don't have home or bases in the game. What you have is fast travel checkpoints which you will use a lot depending on missions and activities. What he meant by the city is that each city has a certain recommended level you can play or do missions,

This is not NMS or Minecraft xD. In this game you are busy with adventure and killing enemies, you don't have time for base building xD

didnt say it was but assasins creed 3 had a nice system for it and i enjoyed it, we are all entitled to our opinions on what we find enjoyable.

I'm surprised they didn't include one, it would be another way for them to milk microtransactions by selling furnishings in the DLC store.

Maybe they had to remove it because it was not compliant to their vision about the game, I totally understand, but keep in mind that the game is adventure focused which means they wanted maybe to force players to go out there explore more rather than just stay in one place building bases.I don't even see the need having bases, if it had a valid purpose for the entire game then ok.

Tbh i'm surprised that a game about the origins of the assassins didn't have some sort of hideout that you grow over time and upgrade to start the order.
