Battle of the Nile Mission

Hey, is anyone having an issue where you're being trampled by the elephant before you have to chance to attack it? I keep dying as Bayek says "I have an idea". Is this a bug or am I just doing something wrong

Yeah. I've had thsi vs alot of people (on hard not sure if they attack faster) where you get attacked and you can't recover and you are stuck in a animation lock, just gotta try again, sucks a** i know

Do you mean when you're riding on the carrage? or when you fight the second elephant?

Should take you to a cutscene where he throws a spear into the elephants eye.
When he says he has an idea - its when you should be able to throw spears. Until said cutscene happens.

it could possibly be due to you not getting its health low enough. I beat the game on Hard and did it on the first try - so i'm not sure if there is anything else to it.

Nope It just de-syncs me everytime. he doesn't even get to finish his sentence before the elephant kills us

I closed the game totally and re-opened it and did the same thing and it was fine.... dunno

I have a problem where I respawn after dying and I don't have my bow anymore, only one javelin. Since I can't do much damage, I keep dying when the elephant rams the chariot. Is there any way to fix this?

yeah this mission definitely bugged. I had only 1 of my bows (not sure if it the way it suppose to be), but guess what, that was a predator bow, so even with maxed quiver its about 10 arrows, so I ran out of ammo pretty quick, so when elephant arrived I have nothing to do with him, other than watching how he stomped me (as other described Bayek didn't finished his line).

then I decided not to shoot chaser, so I have ammo for elephant (it didn't work, Bayek again didn't finished line).

so I decided to reload mission through the menu expecting that this time I might have both my bows. Guess what happened, now I with throwing stakes. I thought maybe it's fixed itself and I have to have stakes from the beggining, but then I listen to Caesar and Bayek's conversation again, they mentioned bow, so it make zero sense. Also stakes make like no damage to chaser, and not helping against elephant either (also, Bayek still can't finish his line).

so yeah, looks like I stuck on this mission, and possibly even ruin my save (hope not, I don't want to replay 40 hours, lol)

Is there any possible way you can switch bows to a light?

no, you don't have access to your inventory in this mission

Having the same issue, did you figure it out?

played it on hard and got through just fine, you just have to keep hammering him in the face with the machine gun arrows and when the spear part comes up he should be far enough back for you to get off a few shots before the scene where you crash into the lighthouse

No, I just launched it a couple of minutes ago and nothing changed, unfortunately
