Complete the Quest "End of Snake"

Assassinate Gennadios and the snake quest is bugged. I finished it and it doesn't just completes it and i can't progress the game from there it's bugged. I don't wanna have to restart the game all over from the beginning and devs need to patch this game,. is there a way to do the mission again or you can't? What can i do? It just won't complete the mission on it's own.. needs a patch.

I reported it on Ubisoft forums since devs look there too.. hopefully they fix this bug.. i'll just have to try to enjoy the game i guess.. from the beginning again or whatever.. if anyone has encounter this bug and has a solution get back to me..

Well after you assassinate the guy you have to confirm the kill by going to his body and holding E

Lots of time player forget to confirm kills. This is also true for event missions - avenge players mission

I completed the Quest " end of snake " yesterday and it work fine for me.

Luckily you.. i restarted this with a second slot to redo the mission and the bug still remains.. i can't make it check and close on it's own.. it shows checked and i confirmed the body... so i dunno what to do next..

So I had exactly the same "bug", the way that I fixed mine was just continuing the main quest. I believe the problem is that we should have killed the snake first, instead we went for the general. If you kill the general first you don't get a quest complete because the quest requires you to kill both the snake and the general. Go back to your quest list and check your main quest, you should end up in a bathhouse where you will kill the person that you know as "the snake", once that is done, track the quest that didn't complete, in my case when I did that the quest asked me to talk to aya and that was it. After credits you get quest completed. There is no real bug, but ubisoft needs to fix the problem with this broken order. Hope that works for you too!

kill the snake in the bathhouse, unless you saw the cutscene you didn't confirm the kill correctly. Kill the general and confirm kill. Go to Aya. If you did that and still nothing than yea its a glitch but personally I killed them both in different orders in two playthroughs (had to collect trinkets for a trophy so I did a speed run) and had zero issues with this mission

I just realized you have to keep finding the Snake and Gennadios is not the snake cuz it was actually another man so basically Aya had to stay in hiding til you actually kill the snake then you can finish meeting up Aya. Its part of the quest then it'll be finished. I didn't expected it and i did progress now.. thanks for the help. It's not a bug.

I'm stuck in the bath house. The front door won't open. Killed the dude with the gold icon over him. I got the cut scene. Hell, I've even picked up the corpse and dragged it to the door. The most I can get is the "loot" diamond on the door. I can't open it by holding E. I can't open it using the Y button. This is seriously annoying.

I just had this issue. I found that if you have the ARYA quest selected it will instruct you to kill the snake, but that is not the actual quest. Further up in my quest list was a quest actually called END OF THE SNAKE.
I felt a bit dumb, but it was a bit confusing as they have the exact same instructions and it is a sub part of the whole Arya quest. As soon as you select it the location tracker appears.
For the record I also killed the General first then wandered around forever doing side quests waiting for a prompt...

I went to his body and confirmed kill ! Seems this is just another game ending bug !

I had the same issue, even though I confirmed it. Whoever said you can reload quest objective was a G, because after I did that quest went away :)
