Awful controls

I love how the game gives you option to customise your controls but if you change the attack and shield one you basically cant play the game. Good job

There are way too many buttons being used on this. And stupid unergonomic ones (ALT to climb? WTF) that NO ONE ever uses to do common actions. The old control scheme was better

Pretty much, it's worth the small investment for sure, if you already have a console it's not hard to use your preexisting controllers as well.

I did buy the Xbox Elite controller just for PC use though.

The irony here being you're also stupid for not reading the original post before opening that hole in your head you call a brain and you'll find out that you cant change all of the controls to whatever you want because the main ones that you need to play the game use two buttons in combination to work. You cannot rebind two other buttons to do the same thing making the game unplayable. You have no choice but to play with the controls scheme they've decided on for the most part. Now, jog on.

You can change the multiple button ones as well.. there is even a tip on the loading screen telling you how.

Two years later, AC Origins controls still suck big time.

I have a PC to play. If I wanted to play with a controller, I'd had bought a far cheaper console.

Apart from the necro, why hating on controllers so much? Us as PC players have the oportunity to choice however we want to play our games, with kb&m, a controller, a freaking potato or a guitar. Hating on a nice solve to this game horrible layout is dumb. This game feels so much better and responsive with a nice Xbox controller
