Historical Database?
I've been playing the game and loving it but I haven't seen any sort of database where entries about significant people, places, etc. are stored like in the previous games. Is there anything like that and I haven't unlocked it yet or have missed it? Or is it gone? It's not particularly important but I always found that stuff interesting.

Sadly they left it out in Origins. They will deliver some kind of "Tourist"-Mode in early 2018 though, where you can discover ancient egypt in a seperate gamemode.

I enjoyed those optional information too. Helped me to get into the setting without the need to look stuff up by myself.

That's true I did hear about the tourist educational mode. I forgot about that but from the sound of it, it'll hopefully be just a revamped, more visually interesting database. That's given me some hope, thanks for the reminder!

Yeah I liked the codex of the earlier games too (it was especially fun in the games where the IC personality of the codex writer really shone through, some of my favorite parts of AC3 where reading Shaun's comments on revolutionary America in the codex) DEFINATLY feeling the lack here, I know there is gonna be a seperate tourist mode added later, but I really want to see the codex returned. so much history learned just while PLAYING the game
