Warning: You are running an unsupported video driver, please update your driver for optimal performance.
This pop-up window shows up shortly after booting the game. TBH the game still runs fine, but there doesn't seem to be any way to close this damn window? I've tried moving the in game pointer with the mouse and keyboard, but it always goes behind the pop-up window, even when running the game in windowed mode. Anyone know what I need to do to x out of this annoying pop-up message?

you need to get into the uplay window. from there you can close the upright panels.
Had that problem myself and soved it that way. The bad thing is, that they keep appearing even with most recent nvidea driver
(im not even talking about low poly population ingame) I'll wait for the next patch until playing

Press Enter or Esc ? Btw you got that message because Windows has made an automatic update of your graphic drivers (which can make some strange behaviour), you can ignore that or apply the latest drivers update (I mean, official latest drivers).

How do I do that? Can I do that and still open the game via steam?

How do I apply the latest driver update? The Nvidia control panel or whatever?

You can also go into your Windows\System32 folder and rename the nvapi64.dll to something else. That should make the game start.

Check on the Nvidia website and get the latest drivers on their website.

If you have a recent nvidia card you should have "GeForce Experience" installed on your PC, if you haven´t then install it. It can automatically search for new drivers and install them. Has a bunch of other nice features, too.

I personally never install Geforce Experience when I update my drivers. I like to do things manually as much as possible.

How to remove the message open Uplay launcher, but not the game, go to settings then to notifications and uncheck "in game notifications " then start your game.
