Better not spread baseless claims.
No it doesnt, i run loads of games at 1440 without an issue.
Can only get "stable" if i drop to "low" and even then FPS is still all over the place. An interesting commonality, is that no matter what test - GPU seems to hover around 70-80% utilisation, while all cores of the CPU are maxed at 100%.
I think there is something more, is it offloading some tasks to CPU that should be running on GPU? Should be able to use gpu at 100% if it needs it
Look I ain't here to argue about this crap. Benchmark results from professional reviewers don't lie.
Im playing with almost everything on high, with some things like shadows, AA and ground clutter on medium.
I'll wait for a patch - has to be something simple, i want to use the extra 25% GPU Lol!
Its not an argument, its a discussion :-)
I do play most recent games in 1440, and just switch of AA and perhaps tone down the shadows a touch and i can keep to a constant 60fps. Thats with the 970 O/C to 980 clocks.
Now, i have just seen a professional review, where they show a 960@1080p running high settings, getting much better FPS that i can achieve. So there is something wrong somewhere - Either with my system, or with the game engine, so there is more to this than the 970 is old
Not true, I have a 970 and I'm playing this game (on Uplay) at the highest settings with 1080p. The game runs just fine and I'm not experiencing any issues with it.
same here. the game crashes sometimes for me but it runs well with the gtx 970. i did a bit overclock too.
fine and smooth dosnt mean 60fps. 45fps is smooth too. it seems like for me some people care so much about fps, that they stop playing if they see 59fps, not realising, that a 45fps game feels smooth too.
