I've verified the files on steam, tried launching directly through uplay, and the game simply refuses to launch. Not impressed.

I tried deleting those 3 files and downloaded em again, that didnt fix it, I dont have afterburner and riva turner installed. Moving it from HDD to my SSD would most likely not fix it so im not even gonna try, same for downgrading video driver.

I have issues too. When I clicked the start button and chose the difficulty, the screen remained black and the game crashed few seconds later.

I had the issue where it gets stuck on the splash screen and won't continue. I fixed the issue by deleting the game and reinstalling it, this time on my C: drive instead of my D: like I did originally. Hope this helps

Yeah, great game, just poorly optomized. took me about an hour and a half to actually set up the graphics right to get rid of heavy lag (15 fps). Never took me that long to make a game run smooth before..
