Never, ubisoft and steam dont work with CD-keys anymore, instead its automaticly activated if you have uplay installed (which you need in order to play the game)

I guess it would cause problems with steam's refund feature. since you have already activated the cd key, the refund would be tricky i think. but starting from 2015, ac rogue and ac syndicate doesnt have cd keys, its just automatic.

I restarted both uplay and steam multiple times, logged out of Uplay, tried again and put my info, logged in and it still asks for a key, like wtf?
