This game has microtransactions. First review, confirmed. What say you?

Doesn't matter to be, game will be fire and you can get Helix points by grinding and buy the items for free after acquiring enough Helix. It's going to be so rewarding.

That's for the people who have no time and want to progress faster.

While i do hate MT i can accept them if its only about PROGRESSING FASTER than normal and nothing else.

I do however get mad if they add something that can be obtained by MT only, but since its only Progressing faster then there is no problem.


AC:U has only Progression MT nothing more nothing less.

The biggest problem with lootbox is that the game is design arround them. Lootbox system was made in the beginning in free to play games and we see the first "big" lootbox party arrived with Overwatch. The thing is, in Overwatch, lootboxes give only cosmetic.
What people hate about their new lootbox system is that it directly impact the entire game, making grind a reality. SoW got rekt cause of it, cause the game is grindy as ♥♥♥♥, to make people buy those lootbox.
Don't know if you saw the next lootbox step with Battlefront 2? Lootbox gives useless things like emotes, but also legendary perks that had a TON of bonus to your character and the farming system to unlock things without using your CB is nearly impossible.

The biggest difference in AC is that their system was allways the same and the game isn't design arround them.
People are angry about lootboxes cause if no one says nothing then... all the games will become like that: grind fest or paying 60$ + some DLC + lootboxes.... then why not add to this: month subscription + kit DLC... In fact if the money wasn't a problem at all, designing game arround such things is crap

...and the guy gave it a 8.8/10 and labeled it Fantastic. Helix points are nothing new. Do I like microtransactions? Nope. Would I like publishers to elimate microtransactions? Yep.

There is no point in the game where you would be disadvataged if you didn't buy microtransactions, unless you want to finish the game as soon as possible. So yeah.

What about that weird ass EULA they force you to accept, like Shadow of War did? Where they can collect all your PC history and data in the background while running the game.

Even if you cleared your browser history...very very suspect. I'm still playing the game though. They can collect all they want, but I know it will backfire :( one day in 10 years.

Dude, how many games don't have it these day ? It's a way to make extra money. If you were working a Ubisoft or EA, or any other company that uses microtransactions, would you dump them because some angry gamers said so ? Besides you don't need them...YOU can play the whole game without.

Same with Shadow of War...

So what? All AC games had microtransactions in MP or for the bonus skins/weapons.
Also it is confirmed you'll get the loot in game as well.
SoW got REKT becasue in Act 4 you had to either kill tons of orcs to get the loot or buy it.

Dont matter mate, It`s only single player so let folks pay for what they want and can afford. Just for the record I`ve never been against pay to win either but this is clearly not.
