Graphics are bad?

Is it just me, or do the graphics look worse in this than the previous two assassins creed titles.

To me, I find it really hard not to notice the culling distance on the trees. Previous titles were mostly buildings, so it wasn't as obvious. Maybe its that one thing sticking out to me that's reflecting my judgement. I'll wait for when they show more. :P

I'm not talking about store page. I watched a 30 minute open world gameplay demo. Especially from a highpoint, it looks awful. The foliage is the worst.

It looks like a watch dogs 2 graphics. Probably same engine and etc... I hope it won't be so badly optimized as Watch Dogs 2 was. Couldn't get 60+ fps on 1080p on high settings with gtx 1070 and i5 4690k

I remember with Syndicate, the graphics (though at launch still worse than Unity) looked worse in alpha than at release. Ubisoft went from downgrading to upgrading, which is nice, but obviously causes this type of discussions. I for one, watched the 30 minute gameplay and was positively surprised by the graphics which i found stunning (especially the water and the textures and the mesh) so I cant really see why you find them bad... :)
