"The best kind of quest" Bugged

I have completed this quest at least 10 times by now, and I hated it every single one of these 10 times, but now I cant even finish it.

As soon as the Rathian appears, the cart begins to glitch through some rocks, then runs through the area and straight into the wall. I have tried following it, but it just continues to roll until it comes back to the Rathian area where it makes 2 or 3 circles and stops in place. I am absolutely lost as to what is going on. I have had that happen 4 times now and I did already try validating the game files. No problems where found.

I would appriciate either a fix or a way to skip that mission (and only that mission). Thanks

Are you using the recently released version of CutsceneSkip.dll ? It's a bug that it lets you skip the cutscene for this quest, because it's known to break the cart physics. Previous versions of the mod didn't let you skip this cutscene.
