Grappling Hook

Whenever i wanna use the hook there's no option! I sheether weapon and hold "C" only one option there - Fire Slinger. But my friend has "Claw Shot". I tried different mappings, nothing changed.

Do you have the Iceborne expansion? It is not available in the base game.

Well, there is your problem, you can't use the clutch claw without owning the Iceborne expansion. Your friend most likely owns the expansion, which is what allows them to use it in the base game while you can't.
