PC crashing at the same point in a cutscene

Reposting because I made the original thread in the wrong section.

Hi, like the title says I'm experiencing crashes when trying to progress through the into to Iceborne cutscene. I'm specifically crashing at the 1:43 mark in this cutscene where the Handler says 'singing'.

I don't have a single mod installed. This is a borderline fresh install of Windows 10 that I installed on January 8th. I have all the right graphics and chipset drivers installed. I've also attempted rolling back my graphics driver and it made no difference.

I normally play on maxed out settings at 1080p (90fps cap which I hit easily) and I never cap out on VRAM (nor did I max out my VRAM during the cutscene). For the sake of testing, I tried getting through the cutscene by incrementally decreasing my graphics settings to the lowest and it still crashed every single time.

My windows event log displays error 41 which is a CPU power error. My CPU only draws like 90W when playing MHW and about 160W when I'm putting it through workloads and the latter never crashes (MHW is the only thing that has ever actually made my entire system crash in maybe 5 years). I tested with my CPU limited to base clocks so it would draw even less power and it made no difference.

Any idea what's going on? I kinda just wanna play the game and at this point I'm considering just installing the cutscene skip mod.

TL:DR; I only ever crash in MHW, mostly in cutscenes. I can't make it through a particular cutscene at all so I'm in a deadlock. I've tried a number of things to see if it was a hardware issue but it didn't help. I do not crash in other applications under significantly heavier load. My Windows installation is less than 3 weeks old.

CPU: Ryzen 9 5950X
GPU: RX 5700 [8GB]
RAM: 64GB 3600CL18
750W PSU

Nope. Most of my crashes happened in cutscenes so I just used a cutscene skip mod to get around them.
