My Steam Deck Setting

Ambient Occlusion: Off
Volume Rendering Quality: Off
Shadow Quality: Low
Capsule AO: Off
Contact Shadows: Off
Anti-Aliasing: Off
LOD Bias: High
Max LOD Level: No limit
Foliage Sway: Off
Subsurface Scattering: Off
Screen Space Reflection: Off
Anisotropic Filtering: Low
Water Reflection: Off
Snow Quality: Mid
SH Diffuse Quality: Mid
Dynamic Range: 32-Bit
Motion Blur: On (trust me you want this one on for your eye's sake)
DOF: On
Vignette Effects: Normal
Z-prepass: Off

Active DirectX 12 API: On (Oh god please have this on, this well get you to the 40 to 45 fps on the steam deck)

Screen Mode: Full
Resolution Setting: 1280 x 800 (having it below 900 x *** will look bad and anything above 900 x *** looks like the 3ds port of world)
Upscaling: You can have if up if it's dock, since I play on the go off for me
FrameRate: 60 cap (in game)
V-Sync: On

Steam setting with the ... on the right of your hand:
Frame Limit: 40 can set it to 45 will use more watt form what I seen.
Half Rate Shading: On (has it effect my game play no, I can't tell)
TDP Limit: 12watt reason it can reach 2 hours with out power
GPU Clock Frequency: 1100

How do you have dx12? The option in my settings is grayed out by default, and there doesn't seem to be a way to turn it back on

I think you need to have AMD fsr on
