Unable To Access Special Assignments

Greetings,

I have been playing MHW since it came out, but I've had a long period of inactivity. I haven't done any Special Quest related to crossovers, such as Final Fantasy XIV and The Witcher 3. I should be able to see those quests in my Special section except I can't access it; The Special Assignment is greyed out, as if there was no quest from the beginning.

I do know though that I have quests that remain unattended as I haven't done Lunastra, Behemoth and Leshen for example. It's a bit annoying as I can't do those with my friends.

Did anyone run into a similar issue? I've looked pretty much everywhere but found nothing. Thank you for your time.

Are you currently at the point in iceborne where you have the serious handler instead of the regular handler?
