Steam Cloud Save Issues

I normally play MHW on my desktop PC, but I recently downloaded MHW onto my laptop so that I can play while I'm at school or just on the go. I have steam cloud setup for the game so that my progress is the same across both computers, but I realized that the progress on my laptop's save file doesn't match with my desktop PC's save file. I am missing items & the progress on my laptop is actually set back a bit.

How can I fix this issue so that my save files are THE SAME across both of my computers? I want to be able to play the same save file & progress the same on both computers.

I'm having the same issue....i often play on my laptop at home and i've also installed the game on the PC at my workplace so that i could play during my off-times. Originally, Steam Cloud sync systems works perfectly well, but recently my progress from my workplace PC didn't sync to my laptop when i got home...making me felt all those hours of game play progression a mere waste.

Any idea?

I found a fix. If you go to the Settings for Monster Hunter on Steam & then under the Updates tab, uncheck the Steam Cloud Sync box and check it again. When you close it & try to open the game it should give you a prompt that tells you there is an issue with the Steam Cloud Sync. It'll ask you if you want to download the steam cloud save, or if you want the steam cloud to upload whatever is saved on your PC or Laptop. Whatever you choose will be what your save will be on both computers, so you'll need to make sure you know which save you want to choose. Either your laptop's or PC, and whichever one you choose will be the computer you will have to do this fix on.
