Nvidia DLSS greyed out
So my laptop gpu is rtx 3050 with ryzen 7 cpu, when i go to the setting to active nvidia dlss it greyed out saying "fidelity must off" But the fidelity setting already off, how do i activate dlss?

The dlss in this is the 1.0 version, meaning it has a bunch of restrictions on what resolutions it can and can't be used at. It also requires you to be in dx12 mode.

Just use fidelityfx. DLSS 1.0 is utter trash. 2.0 and later are great, particularly when you take the time to swap different dll files in to get better results on a game by game basis. But, 1.0 sucks and there's nothing you can do to make it NOT suck.

So, yeah. Just use fidelityfx.

I find it funny I can't use this either and I have a 4090 nvidia rog stryx, and have max reso and hd textures and all. It says I don't have a card for it lol. Oh well I'll just do what you said too.

I had this problem recently, moving from 1080p to 1440p enables it for me

Directx12 API on, Borderless Window
