Softlocked Master Rank 49 quest not showing

Hey all,

I triggered the Safi questline by accident (wanted to check it out) before I reached master rank 100, which resulted in a chain of quests which now want me to kill the Fatalis, whilst still being softlocked at MR 49.

The quest will not show up (can speak with the guy 1 million times), I have all of guidelands on lvl 4, i finished all sidequests Lowrank/high and MR. But the quest to unlock MR 50 onwards will not show up.

After many hours of searching I found that having an active Quest, might ♥♥♥♥ this up. This is what happened to me.
Is there any way to somehow abort the stupid Fatalis quest? (I cant beat him right now, missing essential gear, which is locked behind higher MR quests). Or somehow someway force the completion of the MR 49 quest?

Afaik, this shouldn't interefere. If you haven't received a Assigned quest in Seliana, then you might have got it previously, it should be available already, just do the quest.

To add more, the quest i am mentioning is Sleep Now in the Fire, where you have to take down a Tempered Nightshade Paolu and a Tempered Rathian.

Like I said , I do not own the quest and i have completed all. And the stupid Fatalis quest is an assigned quest in Selina. As its from Iceborne. Its blocking everything. The red quest marker is in all hubs.

Fatalis is a special assignment, not a assigned quest.

If the quest i am saying is indeed not showing up at all and you talked to everyone in Seliana, then try killing Shara Ishvalda once again.

I know it sounds stupid as hell, but it should be worth a try.

I am softlocked since about 2 weeks. I have killed every monster multiple times, leveled up guiding lands to max lvl 4, did all arena quest, talked with everyone.

And yes its a special assignment, but it takes up a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ quest marker and is therefore a mandatory quest to progress. As I cannot beat this stupid dragon solo(not even the first phase), i am kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

And yes Shara ishvalda, died about 6 times to me already, as I farmed him for some mats, even after reaching MR 49. Could the Hunterrank be some kind of requirement for that too? As I have yet to reach HR 100.

Not really, if that's the case, it's pretty odd.

Seems like a weird ass glitch, could also try memeing around in Astera, also making sure everything is completed in there, then go back to Seliana and see if something pops up too.

Thanks for trying to help, but like I said, I am locked since 2 weeks. Tried everyhing I can imagine. As the Quest to progress is an assigment, with a questmarker, it is blocked because of the Fatalis one. As there cant be 2 with a questmarker at the same time (not sure about this one, but never seen 2 or even 1 replace another)

Have you ever progressed past Fatalis phase 1?

sadly thats my issue, I cant. Too dumb and not the right set of clothes.
