Audio Skipping/Cutting Out Randomly

Hey Everyone,

I've had an issue with the game that started when I updated it the other day. At random intervals, usually 4-5 times/minute, all audio will completely cut out. This included music and game/player sounds. This is only happening in MHW, and not in any other games or while watching videos, so it must be something with the game.

I have uninstalled/reinstalled the game and verified that all files are valid through Steam. All audio and video drivers are up to date. I have been playing the game since mid-December, and have had no issues running it on my rig until now.

Is anyone else having this issue or has had it in the past and fixed it?
