Download is 100 gigs??
So for some reason, while I was AFK, MHW decided to download itself twice? So I uninstalled it, then went to reinstall it, and now instead of like 54 gigs or whatever, it's 98??? What's going on? Why did it suddenly double in size? I don't understand? It's never been that big before, I'm so confused. Another weird thing, is that in the "new" MHW folder, there's a file called chunkHiPC, and that's the only thing in there. Would deleting that help the game re-install correctly? I have no idea what I'm doing. I also just got the HD texture pack? Was that what was downloading?? I'm gonna feel so dumb if that was it, but the download was like 45-50 gigs, and it got stuck on finalizing forEVER.

Sound like you have HiRes Texture Pack enabled, it doubles the install size pretty much. Check DLC tab in MHW properties and turn it off if you want to save some time/space.

Bruh thank you so much. God dude that spooked me, especially considering I had to uninstall Webroot just to run the game the other day, I thought my hardware was failing or something. I was just super anxious. You're the best bro, thanks <3
