In my nvidia profile inspector I cannot find settings like SLI Broadcast, SLI Hack, or SLI Copy Engine. The only settings I can find and change are SLI compatability bits and the NVIDIA predefined SLI mode. Is there something I need to do to have the other settings show up?
Or is the only important setting the SLI compatability bits?
I've tried to use some of the compatability bits you have already mentioned but they usually crashed. Maybe that is happening because I can't find the other settings.
You probably won't get any modern games running in sli at all without hack and broadcast.
thats very good scaling, whats the rest of your system specs?
2x GTX 960 4GB
Corsair DDR4 3000MHz Vengeance
MSI Z270 Gaming M7 motherboard
in game settings aren't maxed but I turned up all the settings which impact fps very little or not at all. I was also surprised by how well it worked out. Even fighting lunastra I was still stable at 60fps :D
The scout flies and meowcano are the two biggest issues in this game when it comes to SLI I got them as stable as i could and just figured it's the best it's gunna get. The Meowcano issue really pissed me off as it's the only flickering left in 3way SLI but I can always choose not to use that palico tool.
Compatibility bits - 0x8A0122F5
SLI Copy Engine - 0x00000010
SLI Hack - 0x00000001
SLI Mode on DX10 - SFR
it was the most recent on your pinned post. I didn't even try out different ones because it just worked great. Maybe I should still try out other profiles, might get even better performance. though I think what I got is already really good ^^
thank you for finding these btw :)
I didn't find these i tuned them from the ground up it took a long time but it was fun.
Flickering skybox is fixable the post hunt summary probably not. Now my setup has never had the issue but my older i7 3770k did.
Pretty sure i used these bits below in that system.
SLI Broadcast - 0x0000000A
Compatibility bits - 0x000120F5
SLI Hack - 0x08000108
if your running on a high end system with 16x16sli you may be able remove the 2nd hex in compat all together with a HB bridge. It loads up the bus usage significantly but should have less flickering issue. Should work in any of the bits i posted i'd try it in the latest first then try the above profile. This may hurt scaling.
This issue could be caused entirely by that bit and you could try tuning it from 8-F and see if one works better for you. It's been a long time since i worked on MHW.
Thanks for your input. My 1080Tis are indeed running at 16x16 with a HB bridge, so I'll give this a go.
